I snap photos constantly with my phone. While most of them are pretty bland captures of where I go during the day, a few turn out better than others. These are my favorites from the past few weeks.

That looks on tempests and is shaken not stirred

It is the big pine to every wandering almond bark

Whose money unknown, his height be taken as spine go rubbery

Love's not Time's court jester with raw lips and cheeks

Within a bending freezy pop compass come compass Southeth

Love alters not with his brief hours and underware schedule

Superbowl Fergalicious MEME a la MIMI

The Queen's Meme #71 ~ The SuperBowl Meme

Welcome to the Queen's Meme #71 compiled by Mimi Lenox
completed by SpeedyCat

green bay cheese players from 1922

As PER Mimi it goes like this ....

Now that the Superbowl is over, I thought it would be fun to take a little football quiz. I already declare failure but that is beside the point. There are many things about football that endear me to the game. Men in tight pants come to mind, ballet moves, food and music. What could be better?

1. In football, the "ball" is not round. Does this concern you?

Well, spheres are good for baskets, but crappy for field goals. I prefer the Nerf model with the aerodynamic fins

2.Can you decipher just one of the sideline hand signals?

Ohhh yes, when the coach hates a call, he puts up one finger

3. What did you think of the halftime show?

Fergilicious !!!! BOOOOOYAHHHH

4. I do not understand why it is so important to knock people down if the object of the game is to get back up and run with the ball. Wouldn't it be simpler to just toss it back and forth and see who could catch it first?

huh?

5. What is a down?

If first you don't succeed, try two more times

6. Besides the obvious testosterone flying around (ladies) and the cheerleaders in short skirts (gentlemen) what else about the game of football fascinates you?

Free Gatorade would be cool, free chikin would be heaven

7. If you could add a rule to the game, what would it be?

Pass interference ... get RID of it! Let the mayhem commence

fergalicious

NOW, mayyyybe MIMI lets me out of the dungeon ... maybe

NOW 4 the important part of this MEMEIOLIE! I tag DCR and his post The Puzzle to Get the Declaration in Poptropica

F Scott Fitzgerald & Bob Dylan Deliriums

Scott Fitzgerald Great Gatsby

Was F. Scott Fitzgerald born in St. Paul, Minnesota ?

Yes, he sure was. When he lived in Minnesota his name was Bob Dylan. When he started his writing career, his first pen name was "Paper Mate" but that didn't work out. He used to really enjoy driving his Cord convertible up to Minnesota's North Shore along Lake Superior with his girlfriend Carmen. Carmen was the nurse on the "Axel & His Dog" kids TV show in the '50's.
F. Scott used the North Shore as the setting for his first book; "Murder on the Disoriented Express". It was centered around the train that runs between Duluth and Two Harbors. The basic story is that of two lumberjacks that were really upset with Minnesota's law against having an open liquor bottle in a vehicle and took it out on an iron miner from Biwabik who was just trying to get to Two Harbors for a pizza. The book didn't sell very well and no one wanted to buy the movie rights because the book was only 27 pages long. Things got better for him over time and Scotty finished his career as the Chief Engineer on the Starship Enterprise.

The Great Gatsby, considered his masterpiece, was published in 1925
