The puzzle PEACE. How might you achieve it?

What would you be willing to give up to have a world peace? Does "freedom" have an equivalent value to most humans? I think the answers would vary greatly if you took a poll. To me, what the peace globes are about, is the simple fact that we are not always heard. As a small group of powerful individuals make large decisions about war, and pursuing THEIR own agenda, many of us little people go unheard, and un-noticed. Today sends a message not just of peace, but of hope. It bonds so many together in union. It brings a loving message. It gives us a voice as MANY UNITED.
I believe that the common ground in all peace globe participants, is that if it were possible to end all violence with a snap of a finger, we would all be snapping like crazy.

I totally agree. If the majority of people were put in charge of the world, we would have peace. Isn't that the strangest thing. So, why haven't we?! Why do we vote in those who don't want peace? Why do we, in some countries, allow dictators and despots to reign? I don't know. I don't know why, when we are so strong joined together we don't have what we want.
Perhaps it is as I said to another blogger about bullying, sometimes finding a peaceful solution and talking about it doesn't work. Sometimes the one who's bullied has to push back...to balance out the power so the one who's bullied is seen as 'equal' the the bully. I don't know.
I don't like this way. I prefer ours. But, sometimes I think it will never work, because those in power simply don't listen. we have to put the right people in power. And we have to get our voices heard....
We can start here. And this is where we've started :-)
