Where has my blog gone? Good question ... seems I just don't publish much anymore, and I have not been commenting at other blogs on a regular basis. One reason is mobile web, and the vast arena of what you can do and then interact with others live in other forms of social media. You can take pictures, upload them from anywhere, and chat with people all across the globe as you walk down a country trail or while playing golf. Don't get me wrong, I love the creative part of a blog, but it is a time consuming process, and one that just does not reach as many people as it used to. I also think spring brings with it so many other activities that are outdoors. Many nights I get home planning on blogging, then just end up yacking it up for a while at Facebook. In any case, quiting this blogging thing is not going to happen, but at the moment my motivation just is not there. Am I taking a break? I don't know - but maybe that's what would be best. The one real downside to that is not keeping in touch with the wonderful people out there that have become friends, and loyal visitors here, but in all truth I chat with other bloggers more now everywhere else. Sandee is the one exception. Hi Sandee !!
My life you ask ?? It has been really nice actually. I think when I was younger it would be a bit on the boring side, but right now low stress / low key fits perfectly. I work, I play golf, I walk with my dog, I visit family, I watch movies, and for the first time in my life, am able to do whatever I want with any given day. Ohhh, and yes, I still fart around with photos. I made this a few nights ago while sitting out on the deck.

ps: I also change my mind a lot, and may post 20 times next week ....

Cool post, thanks for the update to let blog visitors know whats up...not that you have really ever taken all that long a break between posts, you are still one of the most amazing bloggers ever !!Speedy, its so great that technology changes all the time.I also found that I tend to hang out on Facebook as opposed to really visiting any blogs anymore.I can totally relate to you when you mention the versatility of mobile web,so many doors of communication are opened and with mobile web and other gadgets,in a way, one really can hold the whole universe in the palm of ones hand :)
I am really happy to know that your life is smooth, and going along so well. Its all I ever wish for my bestest buddies, and yeah,I hope it for me too...and I am sure you will blog when and if you want to....the one cool thing about blogging is that you can take a break just whenever you dang well please.See ya on Facebook :)
Whewwwwwwww, I was wondering how you were. I've noticed a descrease in bloggers the past few months as well, mind you Spring is here!!! and I'll take the outdoors any time before sitting on me butt in front of a pooter.
I'm really happy to know your life is one of ease and contentment Speedy. Take great care of yourself and don't just disappear OK, I hate when people do that. :)
Happy Whacking !
Yeah, there are a lot of nights I planned on blogging too and then I get sucked in by Facebook!
PS: I love that golf photo of you.
Hi there, Speedy! Cute picture of Mardy--but then I don't think you can take a picture of Mardy and have it not be cute.
You look like you are playing golf in a field of poppies!! HA HA!
Happy Monday to you! :-)
Wow - I know what you mean about blogging being time-consuming compared to all those other social medias out there where you can instantly upload photos and things. Yet, I still miss blogging - not sure exactly why. It could be that it somehow feels more rewarding getting comments on a blog post from an audience you have cultivated over time (such nice people, those fellow bloggers). Or maybe it is that so many people's social application announcements are either way too much information or just very one-sided, as if they are just blurting out trivial thoughts into space. I honestly don't know. Sigh. But whatever it is, it's the reason I haven't closed up my own blog.
Well, enough waxing on that subject. Let's talk about you, Speedy! You sound so wonderfully peaceful and happy in this post that I couldn't help being happy for you!!!!! I like to think of you enjoying and relaxing, especially walking with Mardy. Big hugs and smiles to you!
just go with the flow young man Oh by the way is that Franks Redhot on your shirt there...and I hope we dob't have to wear formal at your victory dinner in the Butler cabin next year...I would have to get a new pair of Dockers
And to think you weren't sure you wanted to get on Facebook at first. :)
You do what you have to do and I'll be right here to support you. I'm in a bit of a slump myself and the boating season has begun. You know how I disappear during the good weather months.
Love you to pieces Speedy. Big hugs and smooches back. :)
Hi 0007 Undercover Ranger,
With my busy schedule, 008 barely finds the time to write one post a week and tweet with my satire treats.
For more online time, Can Dr. Shoal formulate a Time Dilation Pill to slow down the hours of the day? ;)
Hugs and smooches 'fore' my good Ole Speedcat Solskjær pal
