Scales that Balance

emancipated
Scales that balance ... a trade, a gain, a loss
servitude flows across the stream to reciprocate independence
the artery and boulevard clear in all directions
contingency, prospect, tranquility, vision
Airborne without wings ascending, gliding, then soaring
my eyes open
Windows we peer through change with seasons while the tree remains
the colors of the forest are countless
Set free alone, emancipated to roam
.. my heart quickens
.. the air invigorates
.. my skin is aware of stimulus as never before

colors of the forestMy mind is clear, my thoughts sharpened

elation is brisk, yet fading
Turning to share my sense of freedom,
I find no one there
Scales that balance ... a trade, a gain, a loss

I really like this, Speedy. :-)

My favorite part:

Windows we peer through change with seasons
while the tree remains
the colors of the forest are countless

Very, very nice!!

Hello Speedy,

riding my jetplane from across the ocean to say hi to you. I airborne without wings!

I love it speedy :) I like to seat beside your windows and watch the season changes but here we don't have that :(

I touches the snow in Japan and now I terribly miss the feeling.

XOXO

Daisy,

I like your hat! I want to make one for myself!

XOXO

I am all about scales that balance. Of course I am a LIBRA so it's in my genetic makeup!

By the way, I really liked the way you wrote this.
