Yes, I still go on line for a bit each night, but posting and especially commenting is a time consuming process. If you look at my sidebar there are over one hundred blogs linked, and it's pretty hard to get to all of them like I used too.
My work weeks are now 50 to 70 hours again, and my side business is booming. The math is simple there ... NO TIME. Quite a switch from this winter when I was really struggling.
I have to say, I miss talking with all of you and reading your posts on a regular basis. Over the past 3 years I have met so many terrific people. Call me crazy, but bloggers just seem more open and friendly than the average people I meet out on the street. I think it stems from the need to reach out and share thoughts, stories, humor, and even sadness. In any case, I am still here alive and well, just not as often.
While out and about, I do use my cell phone quite a bit to post photos here: View my photos
I also use mobile Twitter . I get direct messages there sent to my phone via SMS.

It's weird, isn't it?? I can say that the increase in work is multiplied because many competitors went belly up in the last 6 months. Sad way to be busy, but I will take what I can get. I looked around during the slow months, and found NOTHING. Very scary because since I was 16 years old I cannot ever remember a time when a job was hard to find. Traffic actually slowed here because of high unemployment.

busy is good! there's kind of a feeling in the blog world that if you "disappear" or don't comment regularly, people will forget you... THIS IS NOT TRUE. Your place here is always warm and welcoming. We know you're there without you having to comment all the time!
If I actually sit down and read my entire blog roll and everyone has posted, it takes me nearly two hours to read.
If I have time I read them and if I don't, I read my favorites.
Do what works for you and don't worry about the rest of it.
Just be thankful you are employed Speedy. Many aren't, but you already know that.
