OMGosh my life is gone crazy. So many things going on at once, my head is spinning. I was thinking of creating a post, but I just have some time here at the office and decided to banter on about absolutely nothing. Well, it is something, just not very interesting. At the moment I am in the process of moving and 10 billion other things, some really good, some bad. Stress is taking it's toll, and I am looking forward to next month when the dust will settle.
After this life tornado blows over, I hope to be back here blogging more often, and visiting the friends I have on line. Till then, I'll be the one flying by with my shoes on fire. ( ... and that's bout all I gots tah say bout` thaat ) "Like Forest Gump"

I've missed you Speedy, but I also know that you've been very busy. I didn't know you were moving though. That always adds a bit of stress. I hope you can take some time for yourself here and there.

Ok, Visualize yourself in a serene and peaceful place. A beach perhaps? Or maybe a mountainside? What do you see? Give it details. what does that specific tree look like? The colors involved? What do you hear? Do you hear birds chirping? Or maybe the the gentle lap of the waves as they softly reach the beach. What do you feel? Is it the sun kissing your face? Or perhaps it's a gently rush of the wind as it makes it's way through the trees? Taste? Smell? Does it smell salty from the ocean? or earthy like the soft ground you meander through? Incorporate all your senses as you create this perfect peaceful and calming place. It's *your* place after all, and completely peaceful and safe.
Now....On the count of 3...
1....2.....3.....Breathe in
s-l-o-w-l-y, fill your entire lungs. and as you do so, imagine your breath as collecting and gathering all your negative and draining experiences.
Now exhale very slowly, imagining as you do this, that all your cares and worries are expelled through your breath.
Repeat as needed.

Many years back a friend saw me totally stressed out at work and said something that I'll never forget. (It's the WAY he said it).

Know what else? I just heard these crazy noises out in the back yard and went to investigate from the upstairs window (at 2:20 a.m.) ... it was Lee ... taking out the trash ... and on the way back into the bedroom from the bathroom I saw the nightlight shining through the little blue jar on the counter and the BLUE was SO pretty!!!
Little things like that are gifts. And they are everywhere.

The other day I saw a truck in front of me on the highway. Feathers were blowing out. We got up beside it and it was full of chickens. The truck was a Tyson truck. Poor chickens. I took a picture but it came out blurry. I thought of you.

Hi Speedy! Don't mind me. I thought I'd just stop by and run the sweeper and do some dusting and cleaning here around your blog while you are gone. That way it will be all nice and clean for you when you get back. (Don't tell them that I was the one to tell you, but some of your bloggy friends are kind of messy. They have been tracking in mud and dust, blowing chicken feathers all around, and there are I don't know how many empty boxes of chocolate and pieces of bacon lying around all over in here.) Seriously, this is a very messy bunch you allow into your comment box. You should post some rules about people cleaning up after themselves so it is nice and tidy for the next person. Sheeeesh!! Anyway, I'm not complaining. I'm just saying.....you know. A word to the wise and all that.
