In the best news story ever to fit on this blog, Oprah Winfrey teamed up with Kentucky Fried Chicken to give away FREE FOOD using a download and print coupon from the internet. What could be better than this? ((nothing really))
Well, hold your breasts because earlier today a hungry mob of New Yorkers staged a '60s-style sit-in at a Manhattan KFC restaurant. Why? They were protesting the store manager's refusal to honor coupons for the fast food chain's new grilled chicken. Imagine the wild tension and violence!

I was wondering if they'd be accepted here. Not sure why the stores won't accept them since they will be reimbursed. HAHA! So much for a free lunch and her socialism. I'll still try in my area though. :)

I received my coupon yesterday from a friend who alerted me to the deal.
I might just drive over to the local KFC and see if they accept it out of curiousity.
Independent of any negative publicity I can't even comprehend the free publicity that KFC is receiving. The word Kentucky Fried Chicken is being said and thought about millions of times. Some negative thoughts, some positive, but people are talking about it. That's all KFC or any corporation can ask for.

Hah! I was wondering if you knew about this story ... now I think you probably caused it! :)
If a KFC customer expects a super-friendly clerk, they should realize how miserable the employees are working for minimum wage hahaha! I don't eat at KFC, there are far better chicken places where I live:)
By the way, Oprah is the star in my next novel and I don't think she'll like what I have her doing hahaha!
