On a similar NOTE (heh), I was listening to a "Retro Music Show" in the car (the station's definition, not mine!) this weekend, since my kids protest when I hook up my iPod ("ACK! My ears are BLEEDING" and other such nonsense!) when "DoubleDutch Bus" came on. I explained when it came out, I was younger than them and that it pre-dated hiphop and rap. They listened a few seconds and came back with "Er, Mom? What do the lyrics even mean? I just don't get it!"
Sigh...kids today! :)
