This is yet another short post after work. No holiday weekend for Speedy. Hopefully I will have some time to visit everyone soon.

My Father and I used to sing this song together as he played the piano, and it seemed to fit my mood, so why not belt out a few lines?? The following is not very good quality, and pretty short.
This is a very short video of an Evil Knievel stunt. I was infatuated with motorcycle jumping when I was a kid groing up. A Knievel jump was magical, dangerous, and something that was on my calendar of must see events.
The next jump I just saw for the first time tonight. It is unhuman!

Well, it seems my blog will be a dessert in the desert of crusty-ness for a while. What will become of me? My next short update will be from "twitter". Here are a few words of wisdom ...
1. Take donuts with you to work, in your pockets. They will provide a quick energy boost. A big plus is that they will be warm (from your body heat). Mine is 99 degrees far een hite. Hoy Hoy!!
2. Set your alarm clock early, then hit the snooze bar a lot. This gives your mind the elusion that you are cheating time. (good)
3. When you have no time to blog, alert the newspapers so people don't think you are lost in a big forest or stuck on the top of a mountain. Only "CRUSTY" folks do that.
4. An apple a day does nothing for you. Try a prune and orange whipped smoothy. Yeah, baby!!!
5. Read other blogs. This one will stink to high hog for a while, because I have NO TIME for blogging. "Word"
6. The color green is important at this time of year as it symbolizes good fortune ... people celebrate with cherry Jello. Join in by wearing green clothes, writing poetry (on green paper) and by giving vagrants gifts of money in green envelopes.

Back in September of 2007, I was on the staff of the Biden America Writers Group. Pictured (right) is a photo published in the Hollydale Tribune. Joe wanted to meet with me and discuss campaign efforts, and what the public was conceiving to be his platform. Bidens's outspoken and aggressive attacks are not always seen as strength, but rather as anger and insecurity leaking out of his pours. My advice was to work on his demeanor, and to "think" before speaking. I asked him what he thought of Obama. This is what he said.
"I mean, you've got the first sort of mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that's a story-book, man."
Will Barack do or say anything to get elected? Will he surround himself with people that make him look patriotic? Sure he will. He is a Hollywood Showboat !!

Biden's Response: “This is bullshit, this is malarkey. This is outrageous, for the president of the United States to go to a foreign country, to sit in the Knesset ... and make this kind of ridiculous statement.”
