Canadian Hooscow!

So I am on my phone Tweeting with blog pals and I hear "I am in jail". What? Well .... because I had NO computer, I could not see the photo at the Mixed Messages post by DCR. I was hold-up in a hotel on the Canadian border using a cell phone like a notebook (laptop) . Not so easy. NOT jail. Not really anyway.

I wonder how DCR found this picture from the Hollydale Times circa 1988? I thought I bought every copy ...


Even stranger, I saw this billboard traveling down Interstate 77
Sure, I know why I am looking at the HOT chick, but how did I get there? The real problem was that my URL was not listed at the bottom. What good is publicity if it does not drive traffic to the Speedcat Hollydale Page? Some people have blogs, some have SPLOGS (which suck), and some have web sites. I have a page. What defines being a "Page" and not a "Blog"? The difference lies mainly in content. Mine is random and contains way to many pictures.
Ehhh, that's how I do it.

Back to hotel pricing, I thought I knew the answer to the "inflation" when I went into the shitter. WOW !!! Looky here, a phone right next to the throne. Excited, I picked up and tried to call Guido Sarduci in Poland. Why not use some long distance miles on my Gold Card? Well, the blasted thing did NOT have a keypad. Stupid is as stooopid does, I wondered if it was voice activated, and proceded to "SAY" the numbers. One .... Eight Hundred ..... Seven .... etc etc
Nothing! Crazy thing is, it had a fan motor inside.

TO COOL DOWN WHAT !?!!

I was upset, and jumped on the bed until the box spring snapped. In retrospect, this action was worth the overnight price in itself.
Being home again is great. Having a computer and a KEYBOARD again is great. Being as far away from Canada as possible is great.

Canadians are lunitics.
