This is yet another short post after work. No holiday weekend for Speedy. Hopefully I will have some time to visit everyone soon.

I saw this in a comment from Ann tonight ... "I hope you're not working too hard. By the way, what song is in your head today? Mine is, Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head"

My Father and I used to sing this song together as he played the piano, and it seemed to fit my mood, so why not belt out a few lines?? The following is not very good quality, and pretty short.

Hope ya'll sing along with me!

I did. I sang with you~ (laughing) You have a really good voice, seriously. Plus, it's great that you and your Dad sang this song together- how cool.

I cannot believe you have to work over the holiday. I hope you will be able to get some rest soon- don't worry about posting.

BTW thank you for taking the time to stop by and read my post, and then to post this one. It's entertaining and as I mentioned you sound good.

Rest up, and cheers~

Annie

P.S. I almost forgot again. Did you find the chicken on my blog? Let me know after you've rested, I'm just curious. Everyone keeps finding him, but you. (laughing) :)))

Bye again~

I used to be able to play that on the piano! We're supposed to have rain here today! We haven't had any for weeks! and could really use some.. Great recording!

Speedy, is it just me or have you gotten very thin...that picture makes you look a little too skinny...where is our healthy Speedy.

The song with you and your dad made me cry...you have wonderful voices but I would do anything to sing with my dad, so I sang with you and yours...

don't work too hard my friend...think of all that extra money...you can buy me something nice.

Hi Speedy,
Love the song & your singing. Glad to know other folks have songs trapped in their head, too. Maybe I'm not going crazy after all! BTW...I'm late for this but I have chickens on my blog at http://mawdot.blogspot.com

WOWZA! You have a GREAT voice! Will you come to Saturday karaoke at Sgt Peppers one of these days? You'd rock the place!

Sorry you have to work this weekend. That sucks. Big time. Big, big, big sucky to have to work. I'm going to clean my house today if it makes you feel any better.

I keep coming back to hear you and your dad sing...feeling kind of blue today...

Dang! Nice singing! You almost sound a bit Country-ish! You can definitely hold a tune.

Sorry you've had to work so much. Blaaaggggh!

Hey, you can almost carry a tune and everything!

Sing along...."...because I'm free. Nothing's worrying me!"

Who need a holiday weekend in weather like that - wait until 'the sun will always shine on you' ;-)

are the rain drops still falling on your head?? we haven't had any yet!

What a wonderful singing voice you have, Speedy! I really enjoyed listening to you sing. :D

I sang along with you too hoping it would make it rain here, but no such luck. It is dry as dust where I live. The grass is all brown, and we've had nothing but a couple sprinkles in at least six weeks.

I hope you sing more on your blog in the future. That was fun! :)

I wish I could figure out how to save your singing! I am a fan!!

I think we're kinda-sorta in the same key or at least can sing the same songs (although you sound WAAAY better) and I am working in my HIGH TECH and multi-dollar studio to produce a song just for you.

BIG HUGS!!

Wow. You have a beautiful deep voice. I'd say you already know that, but I suspect I had a voice people envied when I was in college, and whenever I'd sing they'd look at me like they wanted me to DIE and say: "You know you can't sing at ALL, RIGHT?" ... and so I was never SURE if I could sing or not.

So ... I'd rather just tell people STRAIGHT if they can sing. I'm the Simon Cowell of the bunch in that respect. A little nicer though, I hope.

sorry you are so dang busy with work.

btw. Me and my daughter used to sing along to her music box necklace at bedtime: You are my sunshine, my only sunshine, you make me happy, when skies are gray.

The anti-thesis to you and your father's song. LOL.

btw: I see that I am only about 5 comments away from being in the lead for top Hollydale commenter.

Ooooooooooohhhhhhhhh the temptation to comment again.

wendster said...

You know ... I really shouldn't.

wendster said...

Not that KNOWING I shouldn't will KEEP me from commenting again.

wendster said...

Could somebody restrain me please?

I am losing the battle with comment temptation.

wendster said...

I know. I'll just get in bed. No possibility of commenting from there.

Hugs Speedy!

I miss ya'!

I do enjoy your phone messages on my blog. You are a good blog buddy and I'm glad I met'ya.
