Small Towns with Big Fires Compared to the Smallness of the Town

Heinen, Osseo, fire, ATV
Heinen, Osseo, fire, ATV
Heinen, Osseo, fire, ATV Rush hour! This one was the worst of all times. I worked in the Twin Cites today, and found bumper to bumper madness as I worked my way West. These photos are from my camera phone of a fire in Osseo MN at the Heinen snowmobile and ATV shop ..... more traffic and detours. You would have thought the whole city blew up by the smoke and amount of rescue, fire, and police vehicles. There must have been 50 total. News crews were on site, helicopters were flying overhead, good grief. A man should not work downtown. It takes a week to get out of there. (reports are that nobody was seriously injured in the fire)
Tomorrow I get up at 4:00 AM to head down to Rochester MN. The Dalai Lama was just there to get a check-up at the world famous Mayo Clinic. I hope to run into him and find personal enlightenment and true meaning. "Hey, Dali! Wass up ... tell me some things about Hollydale".
Right now, I am just plain tired - but glad to be home.

I heard about this on the radio on my drive home today. Thankfully there were no fires along my route. I-94 through downtown St. Paul is slow enough at 5:00 on a good day!
