I am afraid to say that something, or someone has installed pop up ads here. Rest assured, IT WAS NOT ME. I apologize if an ad has interrupted your stop at my blog. I will be working on this problem today. Until I have fixed this breech, consider my blog under construction. I may have to delete.
EDIT: It seems I have solved this problem, at least for now. Thanks to all for the feedback.

I haven't seen any pop-up ads when I've come here and no indication that the pop-up blocker is working overtime... Hope you figure things out.

eric....i too am having this same problem...what did you do to fix it???...i haven't a clue...i have a pop up blocker so it doesnt seem to bother me...however i see how it may stop people from visiting..help!!!

Following is an email exchange I had with another site that had the same problem. She was able to fix it:

Sorry it took so long for me to get back to you. I have a friend over and she needed to use my computer. I did not know it was the widget until I got ahold of one of the companies that were placing the ads. I e-mailed them and asked them to remove their ads and they explained why their ads were there and gave me the name of the widget to remove. The name of the widget is rankwidget.com. I thought it was a good one because I thought it was in with Technorati. Well I guess it is not and it allowed all the ads in on our blogs. I have found out that a lot of blogs have been having problems do to this widget. I hope this will keep you from going through what I did.

I am pretty sure the problem has been taken care of. I removed the widget and the ads are gone. All I can do is hope that the problem is fixed. I was going to e-mail you and ask for help, but I thought to myself, I don't want Mel thinking I am his friend because he fixes my problems. I like all my new blogger friends and would never want them to think I am using them.
Anyways, if you come across anyone who is having this problem just tell them to remove the widget.
