Doctor Deliriums

Seems the genius executives at Dr. Pepper have come up with their grandest scheme of all times. This will make the "New Coke / Old Coke" trick look like two kids trading cans. The Pepper People will "give a free can of the soft drink to every American – except former guitarists Slash and Buckethead if Guns N Roses release 'Chinese Democracy' this year".
Chinese Democracy?? Turns out this album has been in the making since 1992, when the "Guns" released their covers album "The Spaghetti Incident?", but its release date has continually been pushed back. (Axel only will release perfect songs) :-)
Dr. Pepper's Marketing Director said, "It took a little patience to perfect Dr Pepper’s special mix of 23 ingredients, which our fans have come to know and love. So we completely understand and empathise with Axel's quest for perfection – for something more than the average album".
... We know once it's released, people will refer to it as 'Dr Pepper for the ears' because it will be such a refreshing blend of rich, bold sounds - an instant classic."

Speedy Cat's reply to this, "WTF?"

OK, first off, I have listened to some Guns n Roses .... over a decade ago. They even have some lyrics that are pretty catchy, but I will not be in line to purchase Axel Rose's mysterious tombed record (yea, I still say record) holding on to my "free" 25 cent can of Dr. Pepper. Here is the crazy part: An estimated $13million in recording expenses have been built up in the making of "Chinese Democracy". Glad I was not an investor.
