This little blog started out as a way for my out-of-state sisters and sister-in-law to feel more involved with the Beans as they grew up. I didn’t know that it would be around this long, that I’d enjoy it this much or that I would find such insight and camaraderie from complete strangers who, where ever they are, are going through the same things as me, being a mother. So, now I blog to share my special Beans with family and friends, to rave and whine about the life of a (still) new mom and to learn from such amazing women around the world. One of my favorite posts is this one about me and self-image and passing this onto the Beans. So... Here I am at the "LaQuinta Inn" in Rochester. I am not staying at this hotel, but I'm close to it and pretend like I'm staying here to use the computer. The front desk is right behind me! I am a rebel :) 
Our crew of three is doing a big job in Southern Minnesota. Driving back and forth each day would not only be ridiculous, we would not get anything accomplished. This is a shot of my bathroom. I knew you wanted to see my sink. It is in the pile of broken bricks below...
Yup, here is my new palace, the motel I'm in "now". It's a pit, and very small, but it's cheap as dirt - 35.00 dollars a night. Good enough to catch some zzz's. I leave the door open and pretend I'm camping in the old West. Heee Haaaaw!!!!!
The first night down, I found a Suite with two bedrooms, a kithchen, and a living room with a pull-out couch. Very nice, but sharing even a "big place" like this is just a bit to close for me. Here I am stealing an ice cream drumstick from a co-worker.
