These are just a few "Proud Gramps isn't she cute photos".
I find myself doing all sorts of silly things when she's around. We sing and dance to Barney the big purple dinosaur, color, and yell / clap quite a bit. Everything is fun at this age...... 40 :-)
This was taken today. I try always to look at the positive side of things, but when this is as light and nice as the day gets, gloomy can sometimes rear it's ugly head. I leave for work in the dark, get home in the dark, and by golly, that's just to much dark. I miss the sun, shorts, golf, biking, and being outside on a gorgeous day. Issshhhhh!!!
After reading one of my odd posts.... yes, once in a while ODD comes to mind, Rolando from R Playground! said, "Hey Eric, how about a picture of a comb over!" Well, here you go. I can't say that I like this picture much, but a request is a request. If you have followed my page for any amount of time, you know that anything will be done for a reader. Try me!
been smoking some heavy ****. That's all I can say about that! ....and this is the only chair so far that makes me look small. No Direct On , Josey's Silly go Lucky! , Drowsey Monkey , Olga the Traveling Bra , and Julie's Blog, Grottynosh Life / Colin . ALSO!: check out Rolando's new site http://hushspace.blogspot.com/

Hey Speedy, no need to rush :)
At your young age it is QUITE healthy to sit back and take some time to reflect (albeit on a 'comb-over', for crying out loud)
There'll come a time when you will cherish that picture dearly, I am sure ;)
-Jos:)
btw: you have managed to capture our current weather in the Netherlands perfectly in that grey shot
Ahhh what a cutie (not you Eric), lol But the comb over is sweet! You should leave it like that. You rock!
The weather doesn't look too bad. No snow on the ground :)
Hi Jos, Hi Rolando!
I'm on a quick luch break - thought I would quick stop by here and see if anyone had stopped by.
Jos: I'll probably get some time on Saturday.
Rolando: I'll think about it! LOL!!! You must be at work too.
Speedy
DO NOT fall for it! don't listen to rolando! he doesnt really like your comb-over. he's just afraid his over-worked/under-paid hairdo might not be cutting it anymore! LOL! :P
your granddaughter is a total cutie-minispeedy-patootey!! =)
here's my caption for your bamboozzaler of a chair:
"That Burger King Guy finally realized he was no match for moi, SpeedBurger HollyKing! My throne will outrule his paper crown ANY day. Now...where are my morning glories??!!!"
Anything for the reader huh...you must have known I'd pick up on that challenge. Hmmm...gotta think about it.
Lose the comb-over...lol
That picture makes you look like you're an action figure in a doll house, lol. Action figure sold separately.
the chair needs a beer can holder other than that it looks great....:):):)

Hello Eric!
You've been to netherlands lately/ I've been there last September and definitely it was one of the best place in the world...
By the way, I got some reviews on you on this link... http://mynewsviewsreviews.blogspot.com/2007/12/search-for-links-to-raise-your-rank.html
Thanks for the mention! As for a name for the picture....how about, "Look at me, Mom, I'm being swallowed by a chair?" Hey, I never said I was good at these things!
No comb-over! Let the Speedy hair run FREEEEE!
You are such a great sport, and a great grandfather...oh, I didn't mean a "great-grandfather" (LOL) I meant "great" as in "wonderful" not great as in "grandfather." (LOL)
Your granddaughters beautiful...I can see why you're so fond of her. I bet the two of you have a good time together. And I like the comb-over! That's what I meant by such a great sport.
Merry Christmas to you and yours Speedy!
Ann
your grandaughter is adorable Eric....
and you're so young to be a grandpa....
ok Eric...
I'm having one more go at the pole ...
is it a missile glued to a stick ???
OLGA: Well, I'n not sure that a calendar of Speedcat would sell to well.... BUT I like the idea! Only a bra as nice as you would leave such a sweet comment - shucks... :-)
Pinoy B: That's really cool! Thanks my man - I'll send you something back too
Julie: I like your caption too - you are in the big hopper of possible winning tickets. I'll have my judging commence soon...
Chick: You are always right. NO! to the comb over :-)
Ann: Merry X-Mas to you as well. I loved your "Sreen Door" post. It was fantastic!!!
Kim: Well thank you my smiling friend! I must tell you that I "did" feel a little old by the end of this last week. Achey bones!
.....A missile glued to a stick?? Ha haaaaa!!!!!!! This is incorrect yet you did make me laugh. That's even better :-)
yeah...Eric....you don't have to tell me about the achy bones.....and I'm not even a grandma yet !!
btw ...I've decided that all I want for Christmas more than anything...
is for you to tell me what that flaming pole is !!!

you're very clever.....and now I can relax....and enjoy my Christmas..
Wishing you and your family lots of Christmas fun and joy :)
Kim: Your present has been sent.
Don't open it early now!!!!
Kim: WOW!! You were here just as I was responding - magic ;-)
Speedy, thank you so much for saying that about my screen door post. I just sent it to a local magazine, and I'm nervous about the response. So, thank you so much for saying you thought it was "fantastic." What a great compliment and wonderful early Christmas gift. Thank goodness for people like you, who take the time to pay someone a compliment in addition to say something supportive. Because people like that make a huge difference in the lives of others. Your little granddaughter has a pretty nice grandad.
Merry Christmas Speedy, from my home to yours~ Have a great day~
Ann
Speedy! Your granddaughter is adorable! :) I know how it feels to dance to the tune of somehting cause my little one is so into the Chipmunks Christmas album that she'll make us sing and dance to the tunes too. Her fav is "going over the hills and through the woods to grandmothers house we go...." LOL so wel be going round and round just like you are LOL Isn't it just fun! hehe
Merry Christmas Eric!
PS have some more awards for you to pick up! Cheers!
Ann: I could actually picture in my mind what you were writing about. That is the true mark of a great story.... and thank you too!!
Adrian: From the MEME King to the Chrismas King I see :) Your blog is like a holiday festival!!! I would like to see you dancing to the "Chipmunks" (laughing) Times like that are just too good.
Nix on the comb-over. What would be really odd would be if you used your beard as a combover or odder yet, is there such a thing as a beard-over?
That chair IS massive.
"Big White Bent Willow Chair for Big Bearded Bent Guy?"
"Speedy Takes the Throne"
"Speedcat on Bent Willowback"
I dunno. Now if you were on a giant HAT that would be much easier...
